NEW DESIGN OF AN OLD CLASSIC
Featuring an all new cast of characters and a plot invented by the team at The National World War II Museum in New Orleans, the newly reimagined classic mystery game of CLUE is now a Midnight Boheme-designed masterpiece which hit the shelves in November 2023!
CLUE WWII: Spies & Espionage was in development for several months prior to the pandemic which put the project on pause. Then in early 2023, the National World War II Museum reached out to Midnight Boheme to hire the designer's services in creating a completely new game design for their Clue concept. The designer was elated to work on such a prestigious and career-pinnacle project.
GAME BOX
The CLUE WWII: Spies & Espionage game box design by Midnight Boheme features the game's reimagined Clue logo and gives the texture and illusion of a spies' old carrying case with rivets on the corners and a handle on top, serving a serious sense of film noir!
GAME BOARD
With the concept of the new game given to the designer from the team at the WWII Museum, Midnight Boheme was hired with the task of inventing a whole new board design for CLUE WWII: Spies & Espionage to coincide with the fresh theme and unique layout which features the European Theatre of World War II made to look like a torn map of each country and capital at the height of wartime Europe.
CHARACTER TOKENS & CARDS
While we all love the classic characters of Clue, the newly invented version of CLUE WWII: Spies & Espionage features a whole new cast! These agents are just as intriguing and even more daring than the originals because each agent could also be a double agent! Find out who by playing! Is the enemy Agent Athena, Agent Gable, Agent Indigo, Agent Jaguar, Agent Zeta, or Agent Starling??
DECK OF CARDS
INTRIGUE CARDS
The spyglass theme is carried through the playing cards for the game of Clue: WWII Spies & Espionage, including the Intrigue card that feature various instructions to direct the players during the game such as "Intercept Enemy Intel," and "Turn an Enemy Agent".
MISSION CRITICAL TOKENS & CARDS
Instead of the traditional Clue weapons, this reimagined version of the game features six Mission: Critical items that represent actual wartime artifacts used by spies in their acts of espionage including a code book, glove pistol, matchbox camera, Norden bombsight, secret playing cards, and Top Secret satchel.
LOCATION CARDS
Following the European Theatre of WWII, Midnight Boheme's design of the location cards feature graphic icons of each country's capital and its architectural identity at the height of 1945 with a small blurb describing the location's war effort significance.
RULE BOOK
The stylish graphics from the gameboard, cards, and box cover are featured in the Clue: WWII Spies & Espionage Rule Book, an eight page detailed account of how to play this new version of the classic mystery game with its rules and regulations.

THE REMAKE OF A CLASSIC BOARD GAME
CLUE WWII: Spies & Espionage is a highstakes game where danger lurks in the shadows for six secret agents on a mission to carry out covert operations that will thwart the enemy and secure victory for the Allies!
With a new storyline, new characters, new approach, The National WWII Museum in New Orleans hired Midnight Boheme in 2023 to design the cards, box packaging, and other game elements based on their new concept.
After the game hit the shelves that winter, the museum team hired Midnight Boheme in 2024 to assemble a collaborative of film industry professionals to shoot a promotional commercial for the launch of the game.

BEHIND-THE-SCENES
CLUE WWII: Spies & Espionage film the "Game Night" commercial was filmed in the red-walled 1840 Room at Antoine's Restaurant in the French Quarter. The dining room was a perfect backdrop for the mystery game's theme, and the film crew utilized several other areas of the historic dining hall to film certain portions of the commercial including setting up a green screen in the middle of the Annex to film the characters in costume.
The cast included Madi Kelly, Lauren Nash, Arden Forrand, Joshua Adam Carpenter, Blaise Broussard, and Paul Sampson with Mackenzie Andrews filming and Ashlea Kelly directing. Still shots were captured by Cat Landrum a professional photographer and owner of 2nd Story Creative. This creative team became the original members of Espi•ménage Productions.
